School Signage Project: Irthlingborough Nursery & Infant School and Irthlingborough Junior School

Having worked with the Learning for Life Trust at another school, they got in touch to say they wanted fresh, modern signage across the site, along with some safety signage too.

Their existing signage was dark blue, so we opted for a clean white background for the new signs – easier to read, and giving the site a much more modern, welcoming feel.

With two buildings on the site – the Nursery & Infant School and the Junior School – the welcome post sign needed to accommodate both. It displays both school logos, the Trust logo, directional arrows for parents and visitors, contact details and headteacher names, each on separate sections that can be updated as needed.

The Junior School also needed a branded sign for a large wall to help identify the building from the entrance. We designed stainless steel cut lettering for this, which stands out really well against the brickwork.

A directional sign was positioned at the front of the school to guide visitors to the main entrance, which is tucked up a side street.

A variety of safety signs were also supplied for around the site, including automatic gate signs, CCTV signs, playground equipment signs and respect signs.
