Ideal for any adult household – whether you’re in a couple, living alone, an empty nester or navigating life over 50.

Who is this planner for...

I originally designed the Later Life Planner for my mum, after noticing how she was ageing, and worrying about her future. What started as a really personal project has evolved into a practical tool used by:

  • Adult Children: Help ageing parents record their details before you ever actually need them.

  • Parents who don’t want to leave a burden: Take the future administrative stress off your children’s shoulders.

  • Couples: If a partner is in hospital or working away, the other has instant access to things like the window cleaner’s number or house insurance details.

  • Living alone: If a friend or relative ever needs to step in and lend a hand, they have every essential detail to support you properly.

  • Navigating a health scare or diagnosis: When life feels overwhelming, getting organised means one less thing for you and your family to worry about.

Please note: This planner is designed for adult life and includes final wishes; there are no child, young family or work life sections.

Thinking of buying for someone else?

It can be hard to know how to start the conversation with a parent or loved one about getting organised for the future — nobody really wants to bring it up. The Later Life Planner does this gently. It’s a thoughtful yet practical gift that starts the conversation without anyone having to say the difficult words out loud.

Your will tells people what you want. The Later Life Planner tells them everything else they need to know.

A will doesn’t tell your family who you are insured with, which bank accounts you have, your utility suppliers, your subscriptions, or where you keep important documents. The Later Life Planner is the practical companion to a will — covering the everyday information that matters just as much but doesn’t belong in a legal document.

Together, they give your family everything they need — legally and practically.

Getting organised, simply

Over the course of our lives, we naturally gather a mountain of paperwork, utility details and insurance policies. We chop and change our bank accounts, set up new pensions and switch suppliers. Often, essential pieces of information and documents are scattered across different folders, drawers and cupboards, whilst bank account, pension and password details are stored only in our memory banks.

If a loved one or friend needs to step in and offer you support, where would they find the important information about you, your health, your home and your life…quickly?

Designed with care to ensure every page is clear, legible, and easy to follow, this 38-page book is a comprehensive place to record your personal, household, medical, and financial details, as well as later life plans. It’s a practical way to bring everything together — making things easier for your loved ones when it matters most.

What our customers have to say about the Later Life Planner...

The ‘Later Life Planner’ has had a lot of thought gone into its content and presentation. The introduction is clear and each section is very well set out with guidance given where necessary. Over time some information can change but there are blank pages at the end of the book to make additional notes if necessary. I would thoroughly recommend this book.

Dorothy – Rothwell, Northants.

This was a perfect gift for my mum who is always worrying about us knowing her wishes when she passes and finding all of her important information. This contains it all! It is a great size and large font and has all the information you would want to pass on. It is presented in an easy and positive format that makes difficult conversations that bit easier. Thanks Karen!

Molly – Earls Barton, Northants.

This planner is an absolute godsend…it’s so hard to discuss your loved one’s final requests. No one wants to broach the subject but the way this planner is set out makes it so easy to tackle those hard to ask questions, it also allows your loved ones to express their wishes. The details of what to cancel etc are all to hand. In the hard time of a loved one passing the last thing you want to do is search around to find documents that companies ask for. It’s laid out perfectly and has extra pages at the back for anything else they want to add. It’s a planner that should be in every house!!
