LATER LIFE PLANNER BOOK

A complete 38-page book to organise your personal, household, and financial details, and final wishes in the UK

A lifetime of information, organised in one place

It’s not just about planning for ‘the end! This planner is designed for the ‘here and now’ practicalities, the future, and those ‘what-ifs’. It’s an essential handbook for any adult household — whether you’re in a couple, living alone, an empty nester or in your golden years.

The “Everyday Essential”:

  • For Couples: If a partner is in hospital or working away, the other has instant access to things like the window cleaner’s number or house insurance details — no more hunting through drawers.

  • For Solo Living: If a friend or relative ever needs to step in and lend a hand, they have every essential detail they need to support you properly.

  • For the “Golden Years”: It provides clarity for your family, ensuring they aren’t left guessing about financial details or your specific final wishes.

I originally designed the Later Life Planner for my own mum, after realising how difficult it would be to piece everything together in an emergency, or if the unexpected happened. What started as a personal project has evolved into a practical tool. It’s not just about planning for ‘the end’ — it’s about getting organised for the here and now, and those ‘what ifs’.

Please note: This planner is designed for adult life and includes final wishes; there are no child, young family or work life sections.

The essential lifetime organiser

Over the course of our lives, we naturally gather a mountain of paperwork, utility details and insurance policies. We chop and change our bank accounts, set up new pensions and switch suppliers. Often, essential pieces of information and documents are scattered across different folders, drawers and cupboards, whilst bank account, pension and password details are stored only in our memory banks.

If a loved one or friend needs to step in and offer you support, where would they find the important information about you, your health, your home and your life…quickly?

Designed with care to ensure every page is clear, legible, and easy to follow, this 38-page book is a comprehensive place to record your personal, household, medical, and financial details, as well as final wishes. It’s a practical way to bring everything together — making things easier for your loved ones when it matters most.

What our customers have to say about the Later Life Planner...

The ‘Later Life Planner’ has had a lot of thought gone into its content and presentation. The introduction is clear and each section is very well set out with guidance given where necessary. Over time some information can change but there are blank pages at the end of the book to make additional notes if necessary. I would thoroughly recommend this book.

Dorothy – Rothwell, Northants.

This was a perfect gift for my mum who is always worrying about us knowing her wishes when she passes and finding all of her important information. This contains it all! It is a great size and large font and has all the information you would want to pass on. It is presented in an easy and positive format that makes difficult conversations that bit easier. Thanks Karen!

Molly – Earls Barton, Northants.

This planner is an absolute godsend…it’s so hard to discuss your loved one’s final requests. No one wants to broach the subject but the way this planner is set out makes it so easy to tackle those hard to ask questions, it also allows your loved ones to express their wishes. The details of what to cancel etc are all to hand. In the hard time of a loved one passing the last thing you want to do is search around to find documents that companies ask for. It’s laid out perfectly and has extra pages at the back for anything else they want to add. It’s a planner that should be in every house!!
