Covid 19 PVC banners for schools
Covid 19 PVC banners for schools are an affordable way to display information in and around your grounds. During current times of Coronavirus Covid 19, they can be used to display clear instructions and information for parents/carers with regards to social distancing whilst dropping off and collecting children, directions for one way systems, and special instructions for your site. They can also be used to remind everyone of the importance of regular hand washing. As well as using on the outer areas, these PVC banners can be fixed to walls so you can display positive messages for the children to see whilst in the playground or other areas of the school. The ‘How are you today’ design (pictured below) is proving to be a popular option.
These banners are classed as temporary signage and are mostly used for short to medium term display. It is recommended that are taken down during winds exceeding 30mph.

Fitting a PVC banner
- Banners can be fitted to a wall using screws and washers. This is a great way of displaying these type of banners as the wall protects the banner from the wind.
- Most banners are fitted to fences or railings. This can be done using cable ties, or preferably bungee cables/cords/ties. Cable ties are not flexible, therefore in windy conditions, extra pressure is placed on the eyelet areas. As bungees cords are flexible they will allow a little movement in the wind. As mentioned above, please remember that it is recommended to take banners down in winds exceeding 30mph.
- Whichever surface you are fitting the banner to, please remember to use fixings in all of the eyelets not just the corners. Using just the corner eyelets will put extra pressure on those areas, which may lead to them breaking.
Covid 19 PVC banners for schools design options
The colours on the designs above can be edited to either your school colours, or so they work with where you are fitting the banners. For example if fitting to a wall you would want colours that stand out against brick work, whereas if you are fitting to a fence with grass or trees behind you wouldn’t want a green background.
