Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to Blocks Design Services. Any data collected from you is used purely for the purposes of answering your query, providing you with a quote for goods or services, or fulfilling your order. There are 6 lawful bases set out in Article 6 of GDPR. At least one of these must apply whenever processing personal data. Blocks Design Services usage falls under ‘Contract – the processing is necessary for a contract you have with the individual, or because they have asked you to take specific steps before entering into a contract.’
The information we collect
When you contact Blocks Design Services with a query or quote request, we will ask for your name, business name, email address, and telephone number if we need to speak with you. If you are placing an order with us for goods which either need mailing to you, or signage that needs installing, we will also ask for your delivery/installation address.
How we use this information, why we store it, and why we retain it
Information collected is used purely for the purposes of answering enquiries, fulfilling orders, and delivering goods. Where goods are to be delivered or signs installed, your contact details will be passed onto the supplier so that they can deliver/install the order. They will have their own privacy policy in place in order to protect your details. Your data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Your details are retained on a password protected computer, protected with internet security software. Invoices are stored in a locked cabinet. Access is limited to one person.
How you can request that your information is updated, corrected, or deleted

Security breaches
If there is a security breach you will be notified within 72 hours.
